Ok I can't concentrate on studying anymore.. Gonna blog for a bit..

Firstly the Leonid Meteor Shower was awesome and a success! Although I didn't manage to capture a meteor falling, I did have a great time! The weather's been dismal lately, but I prayed for favourable conditions and thankfully for those few hours, the rain stopped completely and the skies actually cleared up a fair bit! =D

Joe went to pick up the car after dinner at around 7, and we all met up at 1am this morning to head off to East Coast Park! We got it quite cheap.. $30 for a day not including petrol! Apparently it's brand of car from China and a new model too =P But regardless of it all I think it was a pretty good deal, and just nice for all us

Dropped the rest back at hall and Joe & I headed out for breakfast.. I think the only time we eat breakfast is if we were awake until morning, if not we never wake up early enough LOL!

Both of us were kinda thinking about a coffee shop breakfast so I brought him to my favourite place for kaya toast at Killiney Road! Haven't been there since I was 15 with Jono, but it was good to be back! Yummy toast+Coffe for b'fast! I think its very telling what kind of lifestyle I have when I only know supper places and have to scratch my head to think of a breakfast place XD

Headed back to hall after that for continuation of mugging/sleeping.. I so glad that I actually got to do this.. usually circumstances never allow me to, or no one else shows enough enthusiasm to get things started.. So I gotta thank Joe especially for helping in everything <3 and everyone included for livening things up XD

Came back and found ants again in my room.. ugh! And they're coming around from outside my window from my pantry cus people leave rice on the countertop. Just saw a swarm around leftover food today.. ewww!

On a more serious note though, Dr Roland Su passed away last night just opposite the road at PGP. Apparently he was at the gym when he collapsed and passed away shortly after that. He was one of the founding principals of NUSHS, 1 of the 4 who welcomed us-the pioneer batch into out first campus as Mount Sinai and also mentor for my house Nobel. Since entering NUS I've seen him around much more, usually walking in Science so it's really shocking to hear he's gone because I actually saw him just a few days ago looking as good as ever. What's even worse is that he's leaving behind a wife and two kids. I can't imagine what they must be feeling like right now.. I think it's gonna take a while to shake off the expectation to see him around still..
