On Friday, I had to continue with the model..

Sitting at the work table really gives me the opportunity to observe a lot of the office drama especially since its next to the director's office.. It's especially active when everyone needs to update him on certain design revisions or planning processes because of his method of critiquing.. The whole day he went around looking for updates from everyone and nearly everybody got an earful about something or other..

During lunch W.K said that the hardest thing about the job is surprisingly not the design process but dealing with bosses and clients.. I'm guessing the whole discussion was prompted by the drama that morning and sitting at the work table across from W.K and the director while he was showing him the Scape plans, I really felt sorry for him.. Everyone around the table at lunch today agreed that although team leaders do need to set expectations and push the architects to produce fantastic work, there would be a GREAT difference in how they'd interact with our director and the other more gentle team leader..
I already anticipated that dealing with clients would definitely be a challenge but after this I'm beginning to wonder how I'd deal with a design team leader if I were an architect..

In any case, this is what my model looks like so far ^^ My fingers are full of glue =P




However, toward the end of the day, I was cutting up material and the penknife I was holding slipped and cut across my finger and into my palm.. It was really horrific I tell you but I tried to make light of it while my colleagues ran around trying to find bandage ^^

Anyway since Saturday was both our last days, Bryine bought me coffee after work! He waited because of that stalker guy from the other day.. so nice ^^ I have a bodyguard! =P thanks man...
