I recently read someone's blog and what I found there quite surprised me.

Debz has talents in art, which I admire (I love art, but not born with a talent to begin with)

I guess I wish I were better known for other things like being hard working or being smart or having determination, but I suppose thats my fault. The DISC test was right. I'm a completely different person when I'm alone. I'm more disciplined and focused and hard working. Don't get me wrong, my everyday self isn't a put on, it's just the fun side of me but when I really set my mind to do something, I follow it through. Which is why I tend to get more work done when I'm alone, so I guess everyone tends to think of me as a slacker since I'm not always seen doing work..
I've always known that I'm interest driven which means that my grades tend to be very polar.

I don't consider myself to possess any talent in art (which may be just my perfectionist nature speaking) although I do know that I have alot of creativity.
Still I don't think there is anything that I can do to change this perception of me. Being in this school means that one is competing against the best of the best and so people like me pale in comparison to everyone above the clouds.
But for me, unlike many people in this school who regret coming to NUSHS, I'm in a better position to appreciate the training the school is giving us no matter how crappy it can get frequently. For me it's just a natural progression of my studies since I have nothing to to compare this against. So I'm not really complaining as it were, just rather discontent with the general opinion about my abilites.
